The issue of glass color was widely discussed in the audiophile community and some audiophiles argue that the blue glass impacts significantly on sonic qualities. However, you can change the sound of our tube product. We can recommend that you leave the JJ blue tubes in there as these have very good sonic qualities for their price. Sonic enhancement is achieved by the substitution of the stock 12AX7 / 12AU7 through Mullard 12AX7s. For the 12AU7s the GE 5963s or the Sylavania 6189s is recommended and can be done in our factory on request. Our output transformers are produced in our transformer workshop from oxygen free copper and Japanese ZII silicon steel plate. The production takes place according to quality perimeter set by the design team to ensure optimal sonic quality in tandem with the other parts of the amplifier. Capacitators, resistors, connectors ,switches, potentiometers and silver wire for this product are imported from companies with a proven history of producing high quality products such as Jensen and Alps. We strive to burn in all components prior to shipping for a time of 60 hours to provide the end user with a sonically balanced amplifier.
